DFTA1000 - Broken Sensor?   how to fix your faulty unit:

We get many requests for replacement sensors for this handy little freeview box. However, it is often the socket that needs repairing rather than the sensor itself. If you open it up take a look at the socket and if it is loose in anyway re-solder the four contacts. If you have broken the cable, strip the plug off, remove the socket and wire it direct to the board as shown below - Tying a knot in the cable to prevent it coming out.
