Address and contact Details
We keep a record of peoples' name, address and what they have bought. This is needed:
- For our tax purposes
- In case you want to buy the same item again
- To know date of purchase and thus calculate warranty period
The information is not held on the website.
No information has or will be shared with any other party
Credit Card Details
Credit card details are not kept. You will have to resupply the details in the event of a refund. (Applicable to card over the phone sales)
Payments via Nochex or Paypal are stored on their systems, not ours
Email Addresses
We keep your email address (if supplied) to use only to search for a record of sale
We don't send any marketing emails so won't ask for your permission to send things by email either.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies.
Paypal and nochex will use cookies to add items to the basket on their site.
Javascript
The site runs mainly on ASP. Javascript may have to be enabled for some features to work.
Data
We have used some of the data (what item was sold and when) to analyse sales. However, nothing useful came of it. People tend to buy a remote control when theirs is lost or broken - that can be unpredictable. Some are more popular than others, but that can relate to the quality of the original remote control and the amount of products sold by the manufacturer.
